This movie will cure your depression in quarrintine. Best movie of 2019. 1:04 it's so adorable the way Yorki lifts up his leg when hugging Jojo ❤. This movie is awesome. Kid should've gotten an Oscar for keeping a straight face throughout the scene. I would've died laughing.

He may have had very few lines and screen moments, but Yorki is one of my favorite and most memorable characters of the last year. Fantastic movie. The Czech republic is your go-to place for WW2-esque architecture, I'm proud they shot the movie here. This film is brilliant, it truly is. A must watch. So, I finally watched it! I laughed, then I cried, then I laughed and cried, then I recovered a bit and then at the end they hit me with that Bowie song that makes me cry ever since Perks of Being a Wallflower. I really loved the movie, I don't think it was insensitive or something, it was a different perspective of the topic and a new approach. At the beginning I got really tense with all the Nazi signs and phrases, but that's just the reaction I instinctively have as a German I think.

This ending is even sadder when you read the book from which the movie in inspired. jojo lies to elsa about germany winning and keeps her in the dark for many years. eventually they end up in a relationship full of abuse terror and hatred untill elsa leaves jojo.
